Monster Cable has always made good speaker cables and unless you are a music lover you will never need anything but this product. I got this spool for a job replacing an old wire. I have way more than I actually need but if you're like me I hate waiting for a project so I have extra (future projects). 500ft / $46 seems reasonable for the quality and next time I can just grab a roll and get to work if I'm feeling inspired. The cable is flat, but as some other reviews have pointed out, it's a lot thicker than your regular audio cable. This wire will hide very well along the threshold or at the bottom of the white bar. If you connect this product with banana plugs, you're done. The sound quality is very good. If you are looking for something that will last and is better than what you buy at the hardware store, this is perfect.
