Review on Rugged Ridge 11546 52 2007 2018 Wrangler by Brian Whitmore

The bracket is very strong and the light articulated arm is excellent. I went from stock tires to 35" and from stock tires to 3.75". I had to replace the bumpers that the tire rides on (not included) as the tire was further away from the tailgate. Even after switching to the larger tire, the bottom of the tire went up nearly 3 inches and I lost a lot of vision out the rear window. I'll probably change the trunk to get the tire to the desired height. Install with a Heavy Duty Hinge Kit and use the spacers from the kit. The spacers aren't thick enough - if you just screw it on with those you'll warp the tailgate. I added a washer in addition to the spacers to get it to fit properly. Also, it was bolted pretty well. If you want the tire to be a little higher then that will make you happy. The hardest part of the setup was lifting and removing the tire a few times to get the best fit.
