I have a fully loaded Surface Book 3 model (i7, 32GB RAM, etc.) that ships with a 102W power supply to keep it fully powered/charged up but I picked this up as a backup PS if traveling or using the tablet top around the house. I really like my MacBook Pro, and sad that the inevitable end to it's current production is right around the corner. When that happens, getting a replacement battery will cost a lot more than it does now, and may not be easy. So, when I saw this, I jumped on it.It arrived quickly and was packaged securely. Everything is included and the instructions look easy to follow. I have not installed it because right now my current battery is working fine, but we all know that it's a matter of time.

battery was received very promptly and the "kit" was very nice. Instruction sheet could be larger and more legible, but illustrations are good. Tools are handy, however, it is very hard to tell which driver is which as Apple is making the screws harder to see. Perhaps the battery suppliers could simply include more standard screws to replace the Apple fasteners, or mark the driver handles as to which is which.

I'm really impressed by the quality of the charger, the whole thing feels very well and solidly made, the cord, the charge head, the charge plug, you can tell they are made of high quality materials. You also get an extension power cord just in case your plug is far away, which is convenient and very thoughtful from the manufacture!Overall, 100% satisfied with purchase and no complaints whatsoever at all! :)

Cord length is great!My other charger would often separate where the section from the electrical outlet plugs into the box. This one does notI am not doing a lot of traveling however if in a hotel cord should be plenty long enoughI only wish Surface made some kind of adapter to plug into cigarette lighter or USB port for chargingI am very happy with this charger. As someone in IT, this replacement was not easy but not overly difficult. This kit came with everything I needed to make the battery swap. The only thing not included was 'alcohol'. Bought this to replace the dead battery in an A1708 macbook pro. While the instructions are OK, I would highly recommend viewing the various u tube videos showing how to do it. One thing I did not initially understand is why you need to remove the trackpad to do this. But I did so and the reason became apparent after I removed the center battery. There are chips on the battery side of the trackpad circuit board. If you leave the trackpad in place, it would be very easy to damage those chips…

Installed the battery and had an issue after a couple of days. Contacted customer service and they immediately responded with helpful tips in order the troubleshoot the battery. When the troubleshooting did not work, they agreed to send a replacement battery out. Clean and stress free process. Will do business again!

This charger is great. It was the perfect replacement and much, much sturdier then the original charger that came with my SP 4. The cord length is generous at about 11ft and the extra USB port on the charger, very convenient. There are two Velcro straps included for cord storage. This is a very well thought out product.
