Review on 🛡️ SimbaLux Clear Plexiglass Protective Sheets for Enhanced Project Safety by Scott Rodriguez

I bought two sizes, 12x24 and 12x12. I would give these 5 stars because they are nice, thick (1/8 inch) clear plexiglass pieces that arrived in perfect condition. Based on other reviews I was confident I could use them as covers for my rimless nano tanks. I was able to use a circular saw, a drill, and a jigsaw to make the cuts I needed with little effort, without cracks or scratches. both are deformed. The mids dropped and the sides rose until the edges protruded a good half inch over the edge of the aquarium. Aside from looking bad, it's also not good for keeping snails and shrimp out of the tank. I'm really surprised that something 1/8" thick can warp that much given that it replaces two much thinner sheets of plexiglass purchased from Lexan here at Revain. The finer parts have been in my aquarium for months and have not deformed. I only bought this brand because I wanted a longer piece and it was in stock. Based on how it was received and how much more durable it was proving to be than the Lexan, I immediately ordered a 12 x 12 for my smaller Nano tank. Very disappointed with the deformation and will return to Lexan. Photos on a 12x12 sheet. I had to remove the 12x24 sheet for the safety of my tank's occupants.
