Review on πŸŽ‰ Revamping with Style: Introducing the Decorating Diva Monster Pressing Mat by Shane Bullion

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best way to iron seams is to keep them flat and the edges sharp.

As someone who sews clothes, doll clothes, home decor, blankets etc I have tried many finishes such as , soft, hard woods. , unlined fabric and this wool rug is now the only one I want to use. The prize was a hard swallow. So much so that the ladies at my favorite quilt store suggested I check out the quilts. Neither of them fit on the big board and they were almost the same price. So I bought this just in time to make a 37ft binding for my duvet. I use the process of basting on one side, folding and hand sewing on the other side. I attached it to my big board with a wool blanket, steam, and a tailor's pastry. Despite all the editing, my pressed edge is still sharp.

Pros
  • Wool construction traps heat and steam making it feel like pressing both sides at once
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
