I would like to say that the applicators I received are exactly the same as the ones pictured this time - an aqua colored foam insert is attached to the black foam applicator. Flat with a wave pattern on it. I have used them with CarPro PERL on various tires on my clients vehicles and compared them to the foam applicators available from AutoGeek - they are made from a much harder foam which makes it more difficult to get into the grooves of most tires on the first application. The more you use them, the softer they become, but at the expense of their structure. You start getting small pieces of foam that fall off and stick to your tires or fall on freshly washed wheels. When they fall apart, they start to crumble and become almost useless. Compare this to the softer but firmer foam of other applicators. This is a reliable pass for me in the future. They're not very expensive, but I can get cheap wholesale items and save a few bucks on a similar product. I think I will stick with AutoGeek products from now on.
