You'll get a neat fold

They help to fold the fabric in place to cut off the corners. The corners are hand quilted and if applied correctly you will get a nice sharp crease.

Pros

Simply stop sewing just before the end of the corner, attach the bias clip to the end of the quilt, place the trim over the clip, fold the open trim over the clip, secure with a second clip and sew
