I haven't used them for traditional purposes but they fit my needs perfectly

We have a platform frame where it attaches with screws in the middle of each panel is. Imo, due to the design of the platform frame, it's not designed to hold a box spring and mattress, so the frame flexes in the middle. Well I bought them to support two sections that are falling (one on each side) and as the risers are wood they meet my needs and because they fit the frame it's barely noticeable and we have two extras just in case we need something else to happen. Slightly lift the spring and mattress
