The lights are the size of small dew droplets with copper wire string. First set of lights were easy to install. Second set of lights, were threaded backwards which meant unraveling one full set which was a pain in the ass. However, it can be fixed with lots of patience.I charged the solar panels starting at 8am directly in the sun. I kept them in the sun all day and made sure to move them a few times to get maximum light. It was 80 degrees out and not a cloud around. They ‘turned on’ around 8pm and at 5:30 am they were still bright as ever. They aren’t so bright that they will bother our neighbors, but if you live in an apartment and your deck is next to theirs, or something like that, they could be a bit bright and bothersome. But hey, you can turn them off too! Picture taken at night.UPDATE-2022-These lights are STILL working. Not one light has gone out yet. They aren't as bright as the two years ago, BUT it's still bright enough that when it's dark out, it still looks VERY similar to my picture.
