I recently ordered two boxes, so a total of four strings. All worked when I first turned them on to set the mode I wanted. It took several hours to install them as I wove them thru lattice work on a gazebo. All the solar panels got the same amount of sunshine all day long, but when it got dark I discovered that one string was not working. Trying to "trouble shoot" it per the instructions did not help. There was no remote control provided with the lights I received, which is fine because I have no intention of using them in any other mode than steady glow. The are certainly light and flexible, and although my camera doesn't do them justice, a visually bright. Since I am elderly and do not have the capability of installing a larger set, I found these "fairy lights" quite acceptable. They are inexpensive, and hopefully will last at least this one season.

Solar lights made it easy to decorate outside but if you get rain or cloudy weather they don’t work that night. Some nights you have to manually turn them on again. You can shape them where you need them, but not always working is a little disappointing.

We like the lights but we were disappointed that one of the two strings did not work. The patterns on the working one were really neat. Using for outdoor trees and shrubs. Perfect because they are solar and turn on and off without having to think about it. There are multiple settings for steady burn, twinkle, random, glow or whatever you like.

I have several of these on my outdoor patio, wrapped tree trucks, Sheppard hooks , even a flower trellis not being used for flowers this yr! They work fabulous as long as solar panel gets enough sun light during day. I have left them out during winter here in WI and they light up at night. Sturdy little lights. Just wish the wires were not gold/brass color. But it doesn't bother me that much.

These lights were beautiful in my moms landscaping for Christmas, but after just one day they are starting to no long work. They’re so dim now that you can’t tell they’re on unless you walk up. So disappointing!

I set this up to charge for a couple days before I started testing. They were bright enough to see without being glaring. I ran them back and forth on a rope line at the edge of the gazebo and they look great. I used the new double sided thick 'tape' available to place the solar panel on the roof edge of the cover. The lights are the size of small dew droplets with copper wire string. First set of lights were easy to install. Second set of lights, were threaded backwards which meant unraveling one full set which was a pain in the ass. They were bright enough to use as I had purchased them for. I still found a use for them. Also have to be turned off and one at least once a month to keep the solar panel working.

It looks good but is not as bright as expected and also not able to change it without any remote is not convinient That's my review.

One of the two strands worked and was lovely. But there was no remote and the other strand was broken, even after 2 days charging outside.

I plan to use these lights outside in the spring. Its fall and getting colder already with our cloudy, shorter days so I am waiting until Spring to out them out. I can't wait to see how they hold up.

Bought this string of lights 3 years ago. Put them on the patio trellis in my back yard. I live in Washington State, so there has been lots of moist weather. Rain, snow, ice, and wind- and of course some sunshine in summer months. Amazingly, they still work. I haven't had to mess with them at all since putting them up. I think that's just amazing, considering how little they cost. I'm going to buy more!
