I bought these to replace the ones I was raising for my 30 year old kids. I have used them for my kids, unlike me they don't force their kids to sit down and eat. They take away food and the bowls are gone. So I had to replace perfectly good shells. I don't mind because I'm getting my Monroe back out of these nice sturdy bowls. Children like to eat cereal and drink milk without lifting the bowl. Dipping fried cheese in tomatoes is great. Soup is drunk soup without spilling like a spoon. The most amazing bowls ever!
