Review on 🏠 Htzsafe Solar Driveway Alarm System: 1/4 Mile Long Transmission Range - Solar Powered, Weatherproof Motion Sensor & Detector DIY Security Alert System by Scott Rodriguez

I have included some photos for size reference. The block is placed next to a standard sized mouse. I've also attached photos of the device installed on my front steps and in a tree next to my driveway. Also a photo some distance from my house where the sensor stopped working and a photo of how the sensor is attached (ball and socket). So far I haven't encountered any issues with this sensor/alarm unit. It is easy to assemble with 4 screws. One caveat: the screws are a bit soft, so the Phillips can come loose. I actually emailed Htzsafe about this and they said they would send better screws with sensors to avoid this problem. When I installed the sensor in a tree I used a large practice ball to get through the detection zone, it worked very well and now I avoid any critters roaming around at night. (Cats, possums, small dogs. You get the point) I set it on low at first and got woken up a couple of times. On cloudy rainy days there was always the power to sound the alarm. If you're wondering how far it can be from the receiver, you can't even see my house in the picture of the street I've attached, in fact it's around a curve you can't even see. I measured the distance with the phone app and it was 0.23 miles. almost written out 1/4. but he had to fight his way through the trees and that corner. many obstacles on the way. I would recommend this alarm clock. The only thing to avoid is placing the device so that it is visible behind the movement you are trying to capture. I had to tilt the sensor up on the steps so it only picked up movement on the steps and not in the yard on the other side of the steps. The receiver also has a variety of tunes that it can play. but it has a few basic ones just in case you don't need a musical alarm clock.
