This is exactly what I needed to simply patch together two cables I had to reach a device that was a great distance from my hard wired equipment. I had plenty of shorter cables (15 and 25 feet) and the computer I wanted to run a wired connection to rather than wifi was about 35 feet from my switch. Rather than spending much more money to get a 50 foot cable, I spent less money to get this coupler, and it works fine. Looks very sturdy and rigid quality, I plugged m IP camera cable into this to extend it and works, no issues at all. Low-quality grounding.

I bought these in spite of the many reviews saying the included plugs are too wide to fit. But I liked the pictures of the construction, it looks solid, so I bought them. I also thought that by now the too wide plug issue would have been fixed. It hasn't. But the prebuilt cables I used work just fine. I checked all 4 couplers with an RJ45 cable tester and they all passed. I knocked these down 1 star for the useless connectors.

These are the answer to the dilemma of how to extend the existing cable one or two feet. These couplers are the answer. They are well constructed and have a long life span and with this device, you are able to do what you need to get that extra length that you need. These are a good buy and well made.

I have used Ethernet couplers before but these are by far the best I have seen. The couplers are very well made and built tough. I was impressed with the amount you get and the build quality for the price. All well worth it.

Exactly as expected. Opened the pack and used to connect two cables that were not quite long enough. Clicked firmly in place and the Ethernet was successfully extended. One of the least expensive options I found and work exactly as they should.

Did exactly what is supposed to. Click on one side Ethernet cable and added another cable. Worked right away! Yeah! Would buy again

I can't speak of reliability yet but they definitely are not made from some cheap material. You can feel the quality when you hold the coupler.

My connection using a lesser made coupler didn't up being my problem, but this product is very well built and works as expected. Getting 100+ mbps

I had a ethernet device connect in the garage and I had to use a RJ45 coupler to extend the distance and off course is going via the attic, so every time the temperature dropped(winter) the cheap connector I was using before fails. It was a frustrating conditions, as soon as I put the DING RJ45 coupler, problem is gone. It is fairly easy to see the quality of the product is built.

I, like many others, have entirely too many network cables (along any other type of cable you can imagine). Was in need of a 11' cable. Had to either order a 10' or a 15' as all I have are 3', 6, 25' and 50' cables.With these couplers I was able to get an almost perfect length 12' cable. Throughput doesn't appear to suffer from using these.

Needed to splice together a cat6 run (previous owner must have cut it at some point) and I had no access to re-run the whole length. This did the job! Works great and I can't see any side effects by using it.

This product does exactly what it was supposed to, join two RJ45 endpoints together. The RJ-45 terminations (10) was a nice addition, but not necessary.

So these come in great hand for when the client has you cut a wire to use, you get it all done. Then during the final walk through they are like how about we move this terminal 20 ft that way ---> . Instead of running an entire new run, slap one of these badboys on there and call it a day. So far these have been fantastic. Very little, if any, degradation of signal.

The couplers seem like they are solid well made only time will tell just installed them so far so good relatively happy with this purchase

The couplers are working great and doing what they're meant to do. I have two 20ft cat6 cables that needed extending and instead of buying two more cables I bought these and joined two 5ft cat6 cables at their ends. No loss in speed, no interference, no differences in any way so far. I will update if this changes.

These may have improved signal transmission from my router to my DVR, as video freezes had with a cheaper quality CAT5 coupler.

I didn't even realize the couplers came with additional plastic devices for the attachment of the cable. An additional bonus.Getting something simple to extend the cat five or cat six cable is an easy solution with this device. Perfect result.
