Review on πŸ‘Ÿ NIKE Men's Flex Experience RN 7 Performance Running Shoe by Lyle Stepp

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Here's a RUNNER's insight

I've been running since I was 14 and like any runner – whether you do easy 5 mph runs a few times a week or seriously train and/or compete, nothing is more important to your overall health than the right shoes FOR YOU. I have struggled with leg/foot injuries (muscles, joints, bones, fascia, everything) and back and even neck/cervical spine injuries for 15 years. which led to my love/hate for running. Knowing nothing, I just decided Nike is a big brand, it has to be the best. but that was back when they had a HORRIBLE series of "shocks" with four little pumps in the back. just awful. My problems were solved when I switched to New Balance and stayed with them for a long time. But now their quality has declined. I was never willing to spend $100 on shoes. (although it was probably justified given how much I spent on braces, medication, doctors, chiropractors, osteopaths, etc.) and I gave Nike another shot after a colleague suggested they try again. I have never experienced such relief. Both flex and freewheel cords are ideal. TO ME. I'll try to make some clarifications because reading some of the more negative reviews really annoyed me: FOR RUNNERS - You know what shoes were made for: no shoes work if you're in bad shape. I learned this the hard way, but once you get the hang of it, all that nonsense about how bad it is for your knees will start to sound like bullshit. The ideal shape engages only the distal metatarsal area - the "balls" of your feet. When you land on your heels (which those awful old Nike shocks seemed to imply was necessary). much pain and suffering awaits you. Don't blame any shoe and work on that first. as soon as you do This lightweight construction and more focus on the ergonomically "ideal” running form works fantastically. FOR NON-RUNNERS looking for long days at work or anything else that requires staying up late during the day. THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. In that case, you need heel support, and there are perfect walking/standing shoes that are completely different from what those shoes were made for. It's literally like buying a pair of jeans and giving negative feedback because they don't match the rest of your tuxedo.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
