They will do their job

These are good and strong rings that need to be closed with pliers. They do have a couple of downsides though: they weren't sawn so the ends don't join smoothly, some of them need to be lined up before pressing them together resulting in a slightly warped, not-quite-round ring, and the surface is peeling though wrapped my pliers with duct tape. But they will.
