This thing is a beast! I saturate my gigabit connection simultaneously in both directions with two PCs and the load on the router is only 25-30%. This router will serve me well for years to come while WPA3 and 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) are still in the pipeline. I wonder if Mikrotik will be able to release a software update that will enable WPA3 in the far future? Unfortunately, the RB4011 contains an inferior switch chip (RTL8367) than its RB3011 predecessor (QCA8337). If you don't need to do crazy VLAN switching, hardware-based rule tables, etc., then this router is for you. It also has no USB ports. Before connecting this thing to the internet, *please* change the admin password and block ALL ports from the WAN side (don't open WinBox or any management ports to the internet!). You can also update RouterOS to the latest version.
