Review on πŸ”₯ GASLAND Chef GH30SF 12" Gas Cooktop: Dual Burner Stovetop with Thermocouple Protection by Chris Endricko

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent LPG Stove - Superb burners - Safety features that work

I researched the options carefully and chose this one because a review suggested I switched to LPG and it worked well thereafter. the best stove I've ever had: it's perfect for our small apartment. A thermocouple in each burner shuts off the gas supply when the burner is not burning. LPG burners are just as good as natural gas burners after conversion. (My previous oven did not have a thermocouple safety feature and this was the reason I bought a new one.) You must follow the instructions carefully to convert to liquid propane: - First you must replace the nozzles as indicated: each one is different but accurate marked. Use a magnifying glass to see the diameter for each. That's easy. Use a very small head, I think 8mm. Second, change the shiny pressure regulator included in the package. I didn't know about them but they seem to make the difference. However, the evidence is not very clear. There are two springs inside and one of them is hidden so you can get confused. DO NOT remove or disassemble the four screws. You ONLY have to unscrew the union nut, which is quite confusing and weird because it's not a hex nut and obviously can't be removed. However, you can easily unscrew the cap with an adjustable wrench. Inside is a very small thin screw that you need to remove. Underneath, a small spring is well hidden and not visible. Reverse the small spring screw and screw it in so that the spring is visible and facing inward. Replace cap. Nothing complicated, it's immediately clear what to do. (I believe this small spring counteracts the other larger spring inside and thus regulates the pressure for the LPG appropriately.) - With the stove running, adjust the burners as directed using a very thin long flat bladed screwdriver with a small tip . Like those used to configure other devices. (A long time ago, carburetor.) Just leave each burner on for a while until it's hot enough and remove the handle by pulling it up. (Can be tricky.) There is a small adjustment screw inside that you can find with a small lamp. Only close clockwise until the low flame has gone out and is working to your liking, but on a full flame and the setting is lower than high. It took me a while to cut out the worktop and fit everything for this hob and a small electric oven underneath but now we have a brilliant combination. The Cosori electric oven is much better than the old stove. This stove is much better than other stoves and ovens. An excellent burner combination and a very efficient large burner for high flame situations. Highly recommended.
