Two of my children are in occupational therapy and use similar boards. But all four children enjoyed riding it at home, and it gave them clear therapeutic benefits from the movement, particularly the sensory contribution to spatial awareness and balance. I swear they sleep better! It's hard plastic, not rubber like the boards in our therapy center, but it's been abused by children and is fine.
