Review on Defender Compression Underlayer Jerseys BRNVCR_XS by Chad Judex

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Really very good Best in Clothing category

I ordered two of these and they fit me very well except they were a little long for me and came down to my ankles. I'd rather have loose ankles than too tight hips and waist, so that's acceptable. The material appears to be very thin. Not sure about the durability but on first impression they are good for the price and make a good base layer for cycling and other autumn and winter activities. I wore a pair to kayak rescue training on a cold day when I spent more time near or on the boat than inside. The pants have kept me warmer than I would have otherwise and withstood repeated trips from the stern of the boat to the cockpit, including through multiple attachment points for deck cables and other gear. The material is thin but durable and doesn't feel particularly wet when submerged in water. Wash by hand or on gentle cycle and hang dry. I bought these for cooler kayaking days but ended up wearing them every day to walk through the winter months. I would have preferred the ankles not to be so loose, but the compression level is still pretty tight otherwise.
