its a real Butt Saver!

I will tell you. I stopped snowboarding for 2 reasons. 1=I have bad knees even at my age and 2=I was scared to go down on to my butt, back and break/bruise my tailbone.I went from not boarding anymore when I was in my early 20s and trying it out again with some knee pads in my early 30s on the bunny hill a few times to then to being so comfortable safety wise to jump on to more aggressive hills. The harder tumbles still hurt, but my butt appreciated the extra padding!

Pros
  • It’s comfortable
Cons
  • Limited color options

These are awesome for my kid

These are awesome for my kid. She is only 5 and they are a bit big, but they do the job. I taught her how to Ice skate and these protected her when she fell. She never had any bruises from the hard ice (which I remember having when I was a kid). These combined with elbow and knee pads along with a helmet, she is perfectly protected. If they work on the ice, they will work anywhere. Get them if your kid is learning a

Pros
  • The gear is adjustable, allowing for a customizable fit for each individual athlete
Cons
  • Not suitable for use with some types of outerwear

Protects Hips best in my review

I love this, I’m learning to in-line skate so I purchased this after a few falls. It definitely does what it advertises. May not provide enough protection for certain areas of the body.

Pros
  • It is an affordable solution for preventing injuries during winter sports
Cons
  • May not provide enough protection for certain areas of the body

Perfect fit for a plus sized person!

3xl fit perfectly on my size 16/18 body, if anything more on the loose side. I was worried because I have thicc thighs and a big butt, but it fits just how I want it to!

Pros
  • The gear comes in a variety of sizes, so everyone can find the perfect fit
Cons
  • Could cause difficulty with bathroom breaks

Runs small on my review.

I got an XL, I'm mostly size 14 pants, have big hips and a voluminous back. So I got the XL because that of that since most shorts XL fit me, but this, I was able to pull it all the way up except I couldn't even close it from the front, since it has a velcro instead of zipper or just none of the two. Very disappointing.

Pros
  • These serve their purpose. Fit was a little tight in the waist for me
Cons
  • Bulky design makes it uncomfortable to wear for prolonged periods

Thicker pads in my review

My tail bone didn’t hurt after falling in these on a snowboard. My last pair of padded shorts from ebay weren’t as padded.

Pros
  • mens
Cons
  • Not suitable for use during water sports

Kept me from getting bruises while I snowboarded

This kept me from getting bruises while I learned to snowboard. I used it outside my snow pants and got so many compliments and people asking about them, however I recommend wearing it under your snow pants as they eventually got wet. Or if you can spray some water repellent on it, that may work too. I can’t imagine how sore I’d have been if I didn’t wear these.

Pros
  • The gear is comfortable and breathable, preventing overheating and sweat buildup
Cons
  • Could cause excessive sweating and discomfort

Item fits very well

I'm an adult female getting back into inline skating. These shorts are perfect to wear under my loose pants. I order the 3x, and the fit is perfect for my size and shape. I do have large hips and it is very challenging at times to find items like these to fit comfortably. More protection is great.

Pros
  • The padding is lightweight and non-intrusive, ensuring a full range of movement
Cons
  • May not provide enough protection for beginners

Adjustable front for my opinion

Adjustable waist. Others don't have that. Lower profile so fit nice in pants with less comfort. The foam is very heavy duty. Instant favorite.

Pros
  • 60% Lycra cotton, 30% EVA, 10% spandex
Cons
  • Padding may lose shape over time

Good product and as described!

They fit a little tight but well! Material is good quality. A size small fit me well and still a little tight, im a size 0 in women's pants.

Pros
  • The shorts are lightweight and non-bulky, allowing for full range of motion
Cons
  • Could be difficult to find replacement pads

No broken butt for my opinion

I'm in roller derby and I really wanted to find some butt protection shorts before I fell wrong and broke my butt. I got these to try out because the price was right and they turned out better than I expected. I usually wear a size 12/14 (with a lot of junk in the trunk) and I ordered a size 3xl. They are made of a thin very stretchy, jersey shirt kind of fabric which is cool because it doesn't get too hot. I probably could've ordered a size smaller but I wear them over my clothes so I like…

Pros
  • Impact Resistant Padding: 1.5cm thick EVA padding provides overall protection for your lumbar, butt, crotch and thigh. It helps to guard the hip and tailbones of our children and old men against shattered when falls down or slids down.
Cons
  • Could cause chafing or irritation against the skin

I'm probably going to return this.

It fit me, which is great because I'm rather large and I was having trouble finding one that would fit me. But it is both too large in one way and too small in another way. The pads don't cover everything. When I put it on, I noticed plenty of ways I could damage myself even with it on. That's the too small part. The too large part is that some of the pads extended into my legs and inhibited their movement. Since I wanted for skating, feeling I need all the protection I can get at age 69, that…

Pros
  • Padded Shorts
Cons
  • Could hinder performance or balance during activities

excellent padding, but very bulky

I bought these for roller skating, after taking a few falls. The padding is excellent, but quite bulky. When I wear looser clothing, I wear the shorts underneath, but when I wear leggings, I wear them over top. The padding definitely works, but if you're looking for a sleek, subtle padding, these are NOT it!

Pros
  • It is the perfect gift for any winter sports enthusiast looking to protect themselves and improve their performance
Cons
  • May not be worth the investment for occasional users

Nice product, too small in the waist

We have the XX-Small & X-Small the waist is too small on both kids. If we put the X-Small on the younger kid it fits in the waist but rest is way too big.We end up not velcroing it around the waist. Great for the kids learning to ice skate and roller skate.

Pros
  • The black color is versatile and can be worn with any color or style of clothing
Cons
  • Not suitable for all body types

Great if you fall a lot!

Just finished a 6 day trip to Tahoe and for the first time ever, came back with no bruises! I’m still a newbie at snowboarding and end up falling more times than I can count (it’s a wonder I even make it down the mountain without calling for a stretcher). I bought the pads for the trip and definitely put them to work. Usually every time I leave the mountain, I have bruises on my tail bone and hip bones and can barely walk or sit, but I am happy to report this didn’t happen with these! You will…

Pros
  • The protective gear is unisex, making it suitable for both men and women
Cons
  • Could be too bulky for some users

Does the job best in my review

I ordered this for my 3 years old.It was a good protection pant.the waist was little too tight but wasn’t a big problem. It did a good job,my little buddy didn’t complain his butt hurts!

Pros
  • The protective gear is designed with safety in mind, giving athletes peace of mind while participating in winter sports
Cons
  • Could be too difficult to wash and maintain

Protect my butt very well when I fall

It protect my butt very well when falling on the ice. I barely be able to feel the pain on my hip and be able to get up immediately.

Pros
  • The protective gear is made of high-quality materials that are durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Could be difficult to adjust once in use

this product saved my a$$!

amazing, it just do the job perfectly, its great for snowboarding beginners, I full recommend this to all who want to learn snowboard

Pros
  • It is ideal for all skill levels, from children to adults
Cons
  • May not provide sufficient protection for high-speed falls

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's better than nothing, but not by much.

After falling three weeks running in roller derby fresh meat training (non-contact - just falling learning new skating techniques), I finally broke down and bought pads after a bad fall made me fear being put out of commission for a long time. So, I fell probably about half a dozen times last practice on these and.well, I didn't hurt AS bad as if I had fallen on my tailbone without any protection, but the impacts were still quite an unpleasant jolt and I still had a hard time sitting that night

Pros
  • It has EVA padded hip and butt shorts that offer superior protection to these sensitive areas in case of falls
Cons
  • May not be available in all sizes

They work!: my feedback

While practicing on my roller skates today I used them for the very first time and of course the dreaded butt fall happened but guess what.?! I am totally ok! I don’t feel pain as I did when I fell on my tailbone before without protection. It took months for it to stop hurting so please protect yourselves and get you some of these! :)

Pros
  • It is compact and easy to pack, making it perfect for traveling
Cons
  • Padding may be uncomfortable against the skin
