I've been converting old 35mm slides to digital for a while. I bought a competitor's slide converter a while back and it worked. OK. But this bad boy is doing his job. The HDMI output is very good, and the ability to correct the orientation of the slide before actually taking the picture greatly reduces the amount of post-processing on your computer. In general, things are great. I should also mention that the build is solid and I have a feeling I'll end up selling this thing because there are so many slides and it will EASILY outlive my project. This converter is definitely a winning option if you're converting slides or just want to show off your old slides like they were in the old days. I would give this thing 10 stars if I could. I finally realized that in the field of diaconversion, you pay for what you get. But that's the thing. This is an offer for what you get.
