*****UPDATE! *** Go in the size larger THEY FIT IF YOU ARE looking for something cute for my 6 month old 11 lb old pug to wear while it's still cold outside and I was surprised at how expensive just one Shirt is on the website but I ordered it on a whim and I'm sooooo happy I did! I ordered a large because my pug has extra skin on his neck and chest and I was concerned it wouldn't stretch like other shirts for him. These shirts have a slightly stretched collar that is pretty neat because it will fit him as he keeps growing, especially since the length is a loose style. I haven't washed it yet but I hope it doesn't shrink after washing because it's so cute on it. I like that the shirt is not too thin but rather thick cotton and it's perfect for summer, the quality is excellent for the price and I will buy more from this brand. In terms of softness, it's not the softest, but I still recommend it to friends and other people looking for clothes for dogs. I wouldn't downsize as they have a loose style which I like and I don't think going up would be a bad thing either. The purchase is definitely worth it.
