My dog is slim, with a large chest, and she's kind of long. All the other raincoats were too short on her back, and if it was long enough for her back, it was WAY too big through the chest and belly. This was the only one I found that was a pretty perfect fit! I liked the color. I also like that it goes easily around her front and back legs to help hold it on without slipping to either side. This is tooo cute. I went through a ton of raincoat listings before getting this one because of the specs. Our girl is a weird size, small and short but thick, so it's tricky finding things that fit just right. I bought 2 of them for my standard poodles. According to the size chart, they both would have fix the 4XXL, but my bigger dog 65 LBs it didn't really fit him. Too short in the body and the hood covered his neck so the hole for the leash was too far back. So I sent back, and I'm getting 2 sizes larger just to make sure. It might cover more of his body too. Went for a 1 mile walk (20 min) during a storm in New England.Pros:- super stylish (LOOK AT HOW HE ROCKS IT)- kept the top, chest, and back of his body dry- passed the poop/urine test- reasonable priceCons:- head piece would not stay on (he moves his head around A LOT)- his tail (nub) had to be covered a few times during our walk after he shook his body to get the rain off his face.-the bottom of his body is soaked.Overall good product. Everything said to size up, and so we did, and it was huge on our dog. Also, the hood definitely does not fit/stay on. Even with the coat being to big, the hood barely went over our dogs head. We have a standard size lab, so nothing odd-size in shape. We ended up returning it, as we figured it'd be more of a mess to clean up then drying him off after walks in the rain.

I ordered this because my dog hates the rain. After measuring my dog and getting the one that SHOULD have fit. I tried it on her and of course it did not fit. The adjustable velcro didn’t leave me with enough material and the rough part is right under her arms against her skin. It’s too tight around the top half of her body. The raincoat fit very well on my dog which was great. Unfortunately the way the leash comes out of the top means there is a lot of pressure at that spot and the raincoat ripped. It’s out of the return window so I guess we’re out of luck.If your dog wears a harness maybe this will work. But if you attach the leash to the collar I think you’re better off with something else.

The raincoat is great and we love it. I got a large fir our 8 month old Shepard and it fits great with room to grow. Since our dog is still a puppy it’s a bit of a challenge to get on him (he’d rather play with the straps) but I don’t see this being an issue for all dogs. You slide the raincoat over the head and then there are 4 straps - one for each leg. It worked great!

I was specifically looking for something with no fleece since my dog gets hot easily, but I still wanted something to keep him dry. He stays nice and cool in this since it is just mesh underneath, and doesn't mind wearing it.The only negative I found was the hood design, but I never intended to use it anyway and simply tucked it down in the collar.If you are looking for something that is rain repellent but won't overheat a fluffy dog, this is a great choice for the money.

I ordered a 5xl for both of my 65lb and 75lb labs. Both cover great but better on the smaller dog. One holds its tail up one down, better coverage with the tail down too. It never occurred to me to think of the difference that may make! Neither jacket gets in the way of them doing their business though. Velcro straps under the chest and thin elastic straps around the hind legs hold it in place after sliding it on over the head. Sounds complicated but it’s really not and my newly city dogs don’t

Purchased 2 for 2 separate dogs and both came apart in the same spot after only wearing twice. Granted it’s a super easy fix for anyone that can sew but still. On the down side I asked both dogs if they were comfortable and neither responded, they just looked at me like I was on drugs. So I didn’t rate that one. Since I couldn’t do it honestly being that I’m not the one wearing them. Kudos to Best Buy for hiring someone that isn’t the brightest crayon in the box to ask those questions.

I bought three different dog raincoats to try and this was the best. Lightweight but waterproof. And the only one with loose leg straps that keep the coat in place. The other two had a single belly strap so the back slid off (might be because we have a deep chested dog)We got the 6XL for our 80lb Rhodesian Ridgeback and it fits great.Very happy with it!

This is the easiest to get on/off the dog! It's a great raincoat for my dog who HATES rain. It's also very lightweight so it doesn't bother her at all. Best one yet!

The coat gives good coverage but the Velcro closing under the dogs rib cage to too difficult to close. My Sheltie's hair gets caught in the Velcro and because it is under him, it is difficult to see. I will have to get a simpler coat that won't catch his hair. Also, the links to close the straps around his legs are difficult to close. Once on, the coat is good but I rate it low for ease of getting it on and off. It would be good for short haired breeds.

I thought this would be bulky but it’s super lightweight and easy to put on my dog. He usually struggles to go to the restroom when he’s wearing something going up his legs but this was just a strap clipped on,he went just fine

The raincoat is actually excellent but I have a major problem with it it was purchased for my service dog who has problems with ear infections from the water as you can see in the picture it does not protect his ears so sadly I had to return

My dog loves to swim but doesn’t like the rain. I put this on him to go potty and it was great. He stayed dry. The raincoat may not keep all parts of the dog's body dry, such as their paws or legs!
