Must be a joke! This will NEVER be home to heto algae. At first I was disappointed to see that it was only half done. Two sides closed, two sides open. This means nothing can stop the heto from going down the outlet and either clogging your system or back into your aquarium. The same goes for holes in the ground that allow water to drain. This is a TERRIBLE design for seaweed hetto, maybe an environment that can't be displaced by my water or is already in nylon bags, but for hetto? NO WAY.
