Good read and write speed, there were no problems with the hard drive that caused access/read/write problems, seems at a Haas well received TL-1 control panel and a ProtoTrak SMX control panel (at least in my school's machine shop) as both, for reasons unknown, have not been shown to accept other types of flash drives, despite the formats being the same. Another student tried his flash drive and didn't register on the program's output screen. I plug in my Cruzer Blade, instantly recognizable and accessible. (Slightly unrelated) I've heard rumors that using high capacity flash drives >8GB-16GB on the same panels will cause the system to take a long time to access the flash drive due to a lot of disk space, but this turned out to be wrong. as far as I know. On the plus side, they're compact and moderately flat, making them easy to store on the go.
