16 gauge speaker wire inserts easily. It compresses very well. The only downside was that it took some effort to put it on the speaker terminal as the fit was very tight. All in all it does the job.

The product itself is good but smaller than the standard plug I thought it was in the picture. I sent the item back and decided to buy locally where I can see the size of what I'm receiving.

Have been using these for years, great product. More recently used for a complete ship sound overhaul. Shrink wrap has also been added. Installed a few months, rust and wear not noticed. The price is much better than local car dealerships.

They fit perfectly on the back of your car speakers. If you want a clean install without having to solder wires to the back of your speakers, this is for you. Combine these 16-14 AWG 2.8 x 0.5mm with their 4.8 x 0.5mm to get a pair of speaker terminals.
