UPDATE: I decided to tilt the pie pan as it was a squash pie and I didn't think there would be any shifting. Left the apartment, reached the end of the driveway, and the handles fell off the container, causing the base to collapse onto the sidewalk. Then the base was chopped and my cake? SCRAMBL. The damn thing only had one job – TO CARRY MY CAKE. I will get my money back.———————I needed a container with a lockable lid and handles to carry a cake across town on my morning commute. Great - the lid closes securely and the additional tray inserts are practical. The plastic is nice and thick and the handles make a stable impression. However, the container did not fit on my cake stand. While the dimensions are listed, it's 12.5 inches wide, presenting a slight seam on the outside. The inside diameter is actually 11.25 inches. The cake stand I used was 9.5 inches and had a very wide rim at the top (it's a pyrex sheet for easy support) so I could only insert the sheet at an angle. Unfortunately I didn't realize it until AFTER my cake was baked, but unfortunately I think I can still try.
