I've been using it for over 3 years now. Works perfectly. My dear D850 never overheats when I use it day and night. It offers the same performance as the Nikon version. Some reviewers claim that this will damage your camera as Nikon batteries are 7.2V which is 9V 4.5A. But what they don't understand is that Nikon's OEM is also 9V 4.5A, so obviously they don't know and are just guessing. I would deduct half a star if possible for several reasons. It's not meant for a lot of abuse. The wires are thin. Therefore, be careful not to overload the connection points. Mine always works. Likewise, There is no Nikon chip on the dummy battery connector, so the camera battery indicator will not look the same. In the Nikon version, the battery indicator turns gray when the camera is working properly. I know because I also have an OEM. But with Kapaxen you always see a fully charged battery indicator. Other than that, it does what it's supposed to, powering your camera safely and for a fraction of the Nikon charge (pun intended).
