Review on 💻 Zalman Mid Tower Gaming PC Case (X3 White): Complete RGB LED Fan Control with Addressable Fans - Tool-Free Design by Patrick Stephani

I couldn't find this case for a long time. I was immediately drawn to his style and mostly metal body. In the end I decided to use this case instead of the more expensive other manufacturers I was considering. While both the black and white models look sleek, I went with the black one as it still has a white interior and tempered glass window panel. I was specifically looking for something with a black and white color scheme. I think it strikes the perfect balance. This case is not very large, but is sufficient for most systems. This time I've gone for a much simpler build (partly due to budget); while I usually make large, very complex, rigid, water-cooled systems. The Zalman case is very neat, fairly well thought out and functional for the price. The inclusion of 4 ARGB fans is a nice touch. The built in lighting control actually has some pretty handy settings (although I only use static white lighting). The fans are very quiet and the airflow is quite good. I like the 4 top USB ports (2 USB3.0 / 2 USB2.0). The LED strips along the top and the fans look great, but not overdone. The adjustable GPU mount is a nice touch. The sides of the case are very easy to remove/install. The top plate can be easily removed without breaking any of the protrusions. I like that the case has multiple mounts for SSD and HDD (I used both). Dust filters are also present in all key areas, with the front filter and power supply locations being very easy to remove and clean if required. Although not advertised, I installed a 240mm Lian Li Galahad AIO cooler in the top fan holes. I believe most 240 AIOs will work in this position depending on how far you can extend it over your motherboard. The fan/light hub has a few extra spots for additional components (and allows you to sync the motherboard for the lights). Overall, the case was easy to assemble. See the next paragraph for short-sighted actions. Here's my list of some areas that could be improved (but not enough to break them in any way). 1: I wish there was a fan speed control available. Technically there is a speed "knob" in the fan/light hub, but you can't access it when the cover is in place, and the cover actually holds the entire hub in place with the screws going through ( and once you run the cables, good luck with that). If they added a button to the top bar that would be perfect. 2: Cable management can be a little awkward as there isn't as much space behind the motherboard tray as would be ideal. 3: I wish there was a little more space above the motherboard to better utilize the top fans' position (although I installed an AIO cooler there, it would be nice if it didn't have to cover the motherboard a bit). one piece). 4: The GPU mount would be better if it was metal. That's all for now. Overall I'm very happy with the case and how it turned out. It perfectly matched the aesthetic I was looking for without sacrificing cooling performance. With a metal body, it looks more premium than a lot of other cases on the market that mostly have plastic faceplates and the like. I applaud Zalman for making a good case at a good price with only minor flaws. Definitely recommended.
