I only use it for water so can't tell if it's particularly easy to clean or odor repellant. It is very durable and will keep the water cold all day long on a very hot summer day. I am interested in the lid design. There is a lock - excellent, there are no leaks and it works well. But once unlocked, every time you want to open it to take a sip, you have to twist the outside of the lid sideways, which requires two hands (too tight to do it with one hand). The second problem is that you turn it counterclockwise to expose the filling. Alternatively, you can turn the entire lid counter-clockwise to open the cleaning/refill canister. Many times I've tried opening it to drink but instead loosened the lid so that it leaks or falls off completely.
