Wanted to buy a bluetooth mouse. It's not like this. That was my shortcoming. My 1 star rating is because when I received the mouse I thought I'd give it a try anyway even though I ordered the wrong item. But the USB dongle that needs to be plugged into the computer for the mouse to work didn't work. Useless. Also, it's not very functional if you have one of the new MacBooks (like mine) that doesn't have a USB-A port, because that means you have to connect it via a USB-C port, so you'll have to buy it an optional receiver that can accept both USB-A for a mouse, and USB-C to keep the power cord connected if you want to use a mouse and power your laptop at the same time. I ended up only paying for an Apple mouse because after further research all these cheap ones (even Bluetooth) got terrible reviews.
