I bought one of these 2 months ago. I'm tired of buying an $80 Mighty Mouse from Apple that won't scroll and can't be fixed in a few months. I don't need and don't need my mouse. Do 50 different things, left click, right click and scroll and I'm fine. I only have two complaints. 1) In my opinion the mouse is too light. It's easy to move. 2) Although the mouse cable is LONG, which is good, it is too stiff. He's lying on my desk with a ball of wire that won't settle even if I put him under a hot…

Good for tasks

I wanted to give this mouse 1 star. It has a ratcheting scroll wheel, which I assumed would allow for fine-tuning of the scrolling or zooming. Well it won't work. In fact, all I had to do was turn the wheel for the window to scroll and the amount of movement to be random. However, after about a week it started working and I can now scroll/zoom by turning the wheel one ratchet at a time. I can also scroll from right to left in some applications, but not in all. I don't know why it works but I've

Wow! Electronics: Keyboards, Mice & Accessories

The wired mouse that came with my iMac has lasted a very long time. Cleaning the scroll ball and replacing the mouse pad regularly were all that was required to maintain optimal performance. Then it went downhill. The scrollball worked sporadically at best, cursor control became an issue, and the mouse ran more like a duck pulling a cart than the fast little thing I remembered. I'm sure some dirt and dust has accumulated inside which is probably the cause, but the design doesn't lend itself to…

NOT Bluetooth; USB receiver didn't work

Wanted to buy a bluetooth mouse. It's not like this. That was my shortcoming. My 1 star rating is because when I received the mouse I thought I'd give it a try anyway even though I ordered the wrong item. But the USB dongle that needs to be plugged into the computer for the mouse to work didn't work. Useless. Also, it's not very functional if you have one of the new MacBooks (like mine) that doesn't have a USB-A port, because that means you have to connect it via a USB-C port, so you'll have to

Nice reliable bluetooth mouse

I've only been using it for a few days but I'm a software developer so around 20 hours of use :-) The mouse pairs very easily with my MacbookPro, on the Mavericks runs. Unlike some previous reviewers, I found the battery compartment clearly visible, but found it a bit difficult to open. Also, unlike some previous reviewers, I didn't find the mouse to wake up slowly - simply moving the mouse or pressing the middle button seems to wake it up right away. Overall I'm happy with it. It's a good…

Sometimes it's better to use a basic wired mouse!

I'm so glad I got a Mac compatible wired mouse. Everyone is so into "wireless" technology without thinking about the downsides like "How do I manage my Mac when my mouse runs out of batteries or won't connect?". Now I have nothing to fear. Have I had a lot of wireless mice? over the years and have recently started using the Apple trackpad again because the last wired mouse I had was too small (I got it as a gift because I got my daughter's bank account soooo). I'm pretty sure the trackpad is…

A great Mac mouse for kids!

I bought this mouse to replace my Magic Mouse for use with my kids iMacs. We've all switched to Macs over the past few years and we love them, but the older iMacs my kids use always spill water or juice on the mouse and keyboard. Eventually, the Magic Mouse died and the iMac was locked so no other Bluetooth mouse could connect to it. I bought it to be able to unlock my computer and then decided it worked well enough for a low enough price that I just left it on the computer rather than risking…
