I only bought this as a backup so I can have one charger at home and one at work. I have a DeWalt at work. DeWalt batteries and chargers are a bit of a racket. They are so expensive that sometimes people just break down and buy another instrument because the difference in price is enough to make them tempted. I had no problems with that. The battery is a bit sticky, but my DeWalt charger is actually worse. Just make sure the light starts blinking constantly and you're done. Considering the price difference, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
