Over the last few years I have bought various compression stockings in search of comfortable socks with good compression. I have large feet for a woman (size 11) but my calves are 14 inches long so it was difficult to find socks that would fit my feet comfortably while still compressing my feet enough. I also wanted socks, not stockings. These socks meet all my requirements. My legs no longer get tired after a long day on my feet. Good compression stockings should fit snugly and be difficult to put on. If they're not there, they won't shrink enough to be of much value. My husband had to wear Jobst prescription stockings prior to his ablation surgery and it was almost impossible to put them on. It's anything but bad! If you're looking for easy on and off, this may not be for you. I highly recommend them if you want real compression stockings.
