Purchased to protect the electric charging station. Thick caliber. Between emt and hard. Also powder coated on the inside so no spraying required. The tracks are thick enough to argue about pouring concrete or not. I chose sand to give it a bit more strength and eliminate the thump on impact. The best part is that the floor is sealed so you don't have to worry about sand or cement seeping through the floor. There's a decorative panel covering the anchors, but you can save money by painting them a safe yellow color that looks good enough to leave open. 1 last thing. I bought these to replace a previous purchase from another company. The first order came in the form of 3 bollards in 1 box. They were loose, dented and scratched during shipping. Fast forward to these pillars. I received them in individual sealed boxes. No dents, no scratches.
