I was using my phone for a while to record while I was driving bc I live on a small back road and people like to speed and drive on the wrong side so I needed something better to record with just incase I needed proof and I know alot of people use dashcams but I thought they were super expensive or the cheap ones weren't really worth it. But I have to say I am very impressed with this dash cam! I had no issues setting it up it has stayed in the same spot now for weeks and records smoothly! You do have to have your own micro SD card which I also bought on here. Lol. Anyways it records nicely at night but I always have my headlights on so I can't really say how it does without them on. It does have the option to leave the mic on or off, I just wish I could zoom in on it a little bit but overall it's working great for me!
