Appears to be very durable. Pretty attractive design. Relatively easy to install with one caveat. Having never used this type of lock before, I felt it was necessary to plan ahead and consider the installation method to prevent a burglar from picking the lock. Simply put, before deciding on a location and installation method, take your time and see if the lock can't be easily released. The key to this rating is caution about chain length. This product is not designed to remove customization links. You have to get it right. This lock will suit my needs. As tools I used a marker pen, a drill and a screwdriver. Screws and dowels were included. Anchors were not needed in my case. The reason for four stars instead of five is the price. It's a bit cool in my humble opinion, but the quality is better than what I've been able to find at local hardware stores. EDIT: The chain "unscrewed" after a few weeks of use and is now unusable. Disappointing.
