These coasters were just what we were looking for to complete our travel theme. They have a good weight and the picture does not convey rich colors. The base is a good weight and will hold 4 stands securely and prevent them from "moving" on the surface of the table. My only complaint is that one of the coasters had a small chip on it when it was unpacked. Due to the excessive amount of bubble wrap and "air bags" in the box, as well as the fact that the chip was not in the box, this must have happened at the point of origin; Better quality control is a must when dealing with such items
