This lamp set was one of the first items I bought for my new home. back in June 2007. Now more than 7 years later these lamps are still with us and I still love them. But now every lamp has a switch that broke - in fact, one of them broke in the first year. At least the table lamps are in the "on" position, so we plugged them into a wired outlet with a switch. Overall I think Kenroy bulbs offer some of the best value for money and we have another set of Kenroy rotary switches available. that didn't break. although the base on a scattered. However, these switches are a problem. I would buy a Kenroy again, but I would not buy this set or the switch set again. I would also only buy at a big discount. Still better than Kichler, but not much better than Target. just my 2 cents.
