This is a stylish lamp. But collecting is not easy. The instructions require you to separate the last link of the chain with pliers to install the lamp. You must separate the link in the chain to attach it to the top link. I think I'm pretty good at mechanics, but it took two pliers and a lot of force to separate the link and attach it to the top piece. I can't think of anyone with a little skill or the right tools and strength to build this lamp. The top element of my lamp was screwed in incorrectly. It would not screw into the lamp nipple, resulting in the lamp having to be disassembled for about an hour to rethread. Even then, the threads on the lamp socket were so even that the threads had to be twisted to install the lamp. I'm sure this is beyond the capacity of most buyers and would result in a return. If you use a plug instead of permanently mounting the lamp, it will take some time to remove the copper ground wire and some patience to move the conductor to the bottom of the circuit. This is definitely a great lamp and once installed it will make a stylish source of light in any room in your home. I would recommend a soft white bulb and hang the device just below eye level. It's very bright with a 100 watt bulb but fills the corner with much needed lighting.
