This product works as advertised. I used to buy copper pans, but they need to be "seasoned" like a cast iron pan. Granite stoneware not. When I received them I just washed them and started using them. The only inconsistency in what they advertise but then don't advise is the use of sharp objects in the utensils - but in the TV ad they show someone cutting a piece of steak with a knife in a pan - I wouldn't do that anyway . In any case, this utensil is far superior to copper utensils in terms of quality and ease of use. I have no regrets at all that I bought a set of 10.
