I use it as a USB switch for a keyboard on multiple computers (one keyboard input, PC outputs). I bought this having previously bought one of the standard multi in/out digital switches and prefer this one. Its biggest advantages are how quickly it switches between inputs, and because it feels analog, there are no weird bugs. The downsides are that it uses USB-A ports, its ports aren't deep enough to fully seat (it's not a problem with their output, they just don't flush), and it only has one input, which is easily fixed can be a USB hub
