Cape Codder's review is incorrect. They state that declination adjustment is required between inclinometer readings; it is not true. As for the declension setting: It's a pain, I won't lie. But not enough to deduct a star in my opinion. After all, if you don't travel often for geological/geographical work, you only need to do it occasionally. If you're a geologist, geographer, or engineer, you probably have to spend over $37 (which is what I paid) for your compass. The scope level is particularly useful for impact measurements. The enlarged display is also a great feature. It feels solid and with the Brunton guarantee I know I don't have to worry.
