STRONG flame, like it should be.Fits VERY, VERY tight in a Zippo case though. tight enough that it may require pliers andPadding the jaws to remove it when it needs refilling. Also had to push it down firmly in the case for it to close completely. I may remove it later and sprinkle a little baby powder, or some paste wax, on the inside and see if it helps to slide in and out easier. Better to fit tight than to be too loose, obviously.but, something to be aware of.With the exception of the really tight fit in a Zippo case.5 STAR product! I have 2 Zippo brand inserts, and neither was anywhere as easy to fill and get working as this one was. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat!
