Rotate the base counterclockwise to unlock and clockwise to lock. * Lightweight aluminum is easy to carry. * Both U-Shot and Mega U-Shot can be used to increase tripod height. * The U-Shot is perfect for close-up selfies and the Mega U-Shot can fit even more into the frame, making it look like someone else took the picture of you, which is sure to match all of our videos seen people going down the water slides. * Love the easy locking of less than half a turn on my mount for both the joystick and head, which allows the camera to be mounted at almost any angle I can think of. Dislikes: * Dislikes of lightweight aluminum only, you have to be careful how you handle this U-shot. However, this is the most durable selfie stick I've ever owned. Yes, I would buy these sticks again. And I can get that combo deal too since I'm a gadget hound.
