Bought to overhaul the steering box on the S10 2000 version. For this work I needed small and large manipulator pullers. My truck is rear wheel drive so it uses a fixed stick. The bipod arm cost almost as much as a rebuilt steering box, so cutting it off to remove the stuck arm was impossible. especially since both the mechanism and the lever are only about 5 years old. This truck is in a garage and will not be driven in winter. For light work, the small puller worked well. Big. not as much. I knew right away the rails wouldn't hold, and after lubricating the threads and using the tool, I was right. Tension with hand tools was enough to strip the threads. It wasn't even a disposable tool. I couldn't pull a hand to do the restoration work. I do not recommend buying this product. look elsewhere for another brand. Disposable tools are probably the best option. I ended up getting OEM brand Pitman pullers to take my arm off. They worked well and it looks like it's going to last a long time.
