I got the gloss red for a color change. It fits the Logitech MX Ergo perfectly as it is a 34mm ball. The color was darker red than I was expecting but increased smoothness made me forget the color. There have been reviews talking about break-in period which I found unnecessary after washing with a drop of dish soap and warm water. There did seem to be a feel of something not really tacky but just not smooth and slick that was taken care of after a quick cleaning. Granted it did take e couple of hours before the true smoothness was realized but nothing like days or weeks to break-in. Once that was done the on screen improvement was really amazing. I don't know if my Logi Ergo ball was a bad one or if they are all rough below the surface. Meaning when looked at carefully the gray layer under the clear coating was rough and un-uniform almost like it would look if someone tried to fill the divots in a golf ball. The Perixx ball is as smooth below the clear coat as it is on the surface and eliminated the need of precision mode as it took away the jumpiness of the cursor. This is just my experience but I say well worth the asking price for any reason.
