This is a foldable organizer with a knitted surface. When unfolded, the box measures 9.5 x 7.5 x 10 inches. When folded, it measures 9.5 x 10 x 1.5 inches. It appears to have a plastic frame on the inside with a polyester knit on the outside and a flat polyester lining. When unfolded, there is a piece of plastic that you fold to form the structure of the bottom of the box. A decorative leather handle on the front. The product was made in China, I like the look of this box. It looks great on my shelf and is great for organizing my craft supplies. I just wish it had functional carry handles. There's only one handle on the box, and it's more decorative than useful. I mean, what's the use of a pen? So you have to carry this box by the sides, which limits how much you can put in and how easily you can carry it. Maybe that was the intention - maybe they don't want you to overload that box because it might break. This is a really light construction. Overall it's an attractive box, but it's better suited for easy loading and storage than for storing a lot of things you need to carry around.
