My wife and I had just retired to Las Vegas and were in desperate need of a humidifier. I bought the Pure Enrichment Hume XL Cool Mist after reading online reviews. i really like it It's ultrasonic and so quiet I keep it right on my bedside table. Dry air bothers me, especially at night. I use distilled water as recommended since the mineral content is very high here in Vegas and I didn't want to deal with white dust. Unfortunately, after about the 4th use, the water tank fell into the sink when filling. . I wrote to the company and they asked me to call them, which I did. I spoke to John Kevin and he said it was still under warranty and they would replace my broken one with a new one. What a guy! A lot of companies would tell me "cool pumpkin". I've since bought a smaller Mistaire that's so quiet I can tell by the mist that forms. Thanks, people! As an engineer I would recommend 1 thing. With all the talk about blue light and sleep, make the night light red instead of blue. I don't use the night light feature but for those who do.
