SAND ABRASIVE GIVES LIGHT!

I had my little creature's nails cut, but after a few days it chewed off the abrasive sand of the plastic caterpillar sooo easily! at Home Depot and glue it right. I do not know what to do! I wish I could get my money back because $17 for a piece of plastic is way too much! SAVE YOUR MONEY! The bike itself works perfectly. I wonder if the plastic caterpillar is bigger?
